Accepted Answer

No. Extraction and generation run client-side. Only your LLM provider receives the text chunks you choose to generate from.

What about scanned PDFs?

This tool extracts selectable text. Scanned image-only PDFs may return little text — try OCR in a dedicated app first, then paste or convert to a text-based PDF.

Which file types are supported?

PDF, Markdown (.md), and plain text (.txt) for now. More source types are planned.

Any provider configured in the BYOK panel — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, Groq, and others supported by @neurako/byok-llm.

How many cards will I get?

You control cards per section (default 10). Long documents are split into ~3k-token sections; each section can yield up to that many new cards.
