Frequently asked questions

Does my deck get uploaded?

No. The .apkg is parsed locally in your browser. LLM calls go directly from your browser to your provider with the key you stored in localStorage.

Why show a cost estimate?

Large decks with multiple enhancements per card can consume many tokens. The estimate uses your selected provider and model so you can decide before running a batch.

Can I undo enhancements?

Yes. Each enhanced card has a rollback button that restores the version from before that card's batch started.

Will Anki scheduling be preserved?

The exported deck is a fresh .apkg focused on updated card content. Re-import into Anki or Neurako and reconcile scheduling separately if needed.
