How do I convert an Anki .apkg to CSV?
Spreadsheets are easier for bulk edits, sharing with non-Anki classmates, or re-importing into another SRS. Unpack .apkg → rows.
Steps

Locate the .apkg
Export from Anki (File → Export) or download a shared deck package.

Upload to APKG to CSV
Drop the file on the converter. Parsing stays in your browser.

Download CSV
Open in Sheets/Excel, clean duplicates, fix typos.

Re-import if needed
Use CSV to Anki or Anki’s native import when you are done editing.
What carries over
- Note field text (typically front/back)
- Not review history, flags, or tags unless exported as text fields
- Not embedded media binaries in the CSV itself
