How do I export my Quizlet set?
Open the set you created → tap the three-dot (More) menu → Export. In the dialog, set the separator between term and definition to Tab, and the separator between cards to a new line. Copy the text, then paste it into this converter (or save it as a .txt / .tsv and drop the file).
Quizlet will not let me export — why?
Since 2024 Quizlet has limited export to the person who created the set. If you only studied someone else's set, you cannot export it from Quizlet. Copying the set (when the creator allows copies) and exporting your copy is the usual workaround. We do not scrape Quizlet URLs — paste or upload the export Quizlet gives you.
Will my Quizlet images and audio come over?
No. Quizlet's export is term and definition text only. Images, recorded audio, and diagrams never appear in that file, so they cannot be packed into the .apkg. Diagrams you still need should be remade as image-occlusion cards (our Image Occlusion tool) or added inside Anki after import.
Tab or comma — which separator should I pick?
Tab. That is Quizlet's default (Term, then a tab, then Definition) and what this converter auto-detects. Comma-separated exports also work if a term itself contains no commas. If a definition includes commas, Tab avoids broken columns.
Is this free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and no — you do not need a Neurako or Quizlet Plus account to convert. Parsing and .apkg export run entirely in this browser. An account is only needed if you choose Open in Neurako to keep reviewing the cards in the app.
Does my Quizlet set get uploaded to Neurako?
No. The paste box and file drop never leave this tab. Neurako's servers do not receive your terms. Open in Neurako is optional and only sends the card list you already previewed, via a browser handoff, if you click it.
Can I study these cards in Neurako instead of Anki?
Yes. After the preview looks right, use Open in Neurako to hand the deck to the app and review with FSRS on iOS, Android, or web. The .apkg download still works if you want to stay in Anki.
How is this different from CSV to Anki?
Same converter underneath — spreadsheets, Google Sheets dumps, and Quizlet exports all become .apkg the same way. This page exists for the Quizlet-specific job: how to export from Quizlet, what the creator-only lock means, and which fields actually survive. Use CSV to Anki if your source is Excel or a generic spreadsheet.
