How do I export my Quizlet set?
On quizlet.com: open a set you created → ⋯ (more) menu → Export. Choose how terms and definitions are arranged (Tab + New line are the defaults), select Copy text, then paste that text into this converter. Export is website-only and available only to the set creator.
Quizlet will not let me export — why?
Quizlet limits export to the original creator of the set, and export is website-only. If you only studied someone else's set, you cannot export it. Copied sets also cannot be exported. This tool does not scrape Quizlet URLs — paste the export text Quizlet gives you.
Will my Quizlet images and audio come over?
No. Quizlet's export is term and definition text only. Images, recorded audio, and diagrams never appear in that file, so they cannot be packed into the .apkg. Diagrams you still need should be remade as image-occlusion cards (our Image Occlusion tool) or added inside Anki after import.
Which separators should I use?
Quizlet defaults are Tab between term and definition and New line between cards — leave Auto-detect on if you used those. You can switch to Comma, Semicolon, Dash, or a custom string for either side. Multi-line definitions work when the card separator is Semicolon or Custom. The live preview and warning list show rows that could not be split.
Is this free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and no — you do not need a Neurako or Quizlet Plus account to convert. Parsing and .apkg export run entirely in this browser. An account is only needed if you choose Study this deck in Neurako.
Does my Quizlet set get uploaded to Neurako?
No. The paste box never leaves this tab. Neurako's servers do not receive your terms. Study this deck in Neurako is optional and only sends the card list you already previewed, via a browser handoff, if you click it.
Can I study these cards in Neurako instead of Anki?
Yes. After the preview looks right, use Study this deck in Neurako to hand the deck to the app and review with FSRS on iOS, Android, or web. First-time web users continue into a guided first review. The .apkg download still works if you want to stay in Anki.
How is this different from CSV to Anki?
This page is built for Quizlet's Export paste: creator-only steps, term/card separator controls with auto-detect, multi-line definitions, empty-row and duplicate-term notes, and split warnings. Use CSV to Anki for Excel or generic spreadsheets with column mapping.
