How do I convert Anki to Quizlet?
Quizlet expects term/definition pairs. Start from an Anki .apkg or CSV export, strip scheduling, and produce pasteable text.
Steps
- 1.
Export from Anki
In Anki Desktop, export the deck as .apkg (include media only if you will keep using Anki).

Convert with Anki to Quizlet
Upload the package on the Anki to Quizlet tool to extract front/back text.

Copy into Quizlet
Create a new Quizlet set → Import → paste the term/definition block.

Check card count
Cloze and multi-field notes may flatten; split or edit awkward rows before studying.
What carries over
- Primary text fields suitable as term/definition
- Not FSRS/SM-2 intervals, ease, or lapses
- Not Anki templates, CSS, or most media
